We are the Southeast Region of America's nonprofit, professional
association of beach lifeguards and open water rescuers.
USLA-SER
works to reduce the incidence of death and injury in the aquatic
environment through public education, national lifeguard
standards, training programs, promotion of high levels of
lifeguard readiness, and other means.
USLA-SER
is a non profit (501-C3 tax exempt) organization. The 22 USLA-SER
Chapters/Agencies share the mission, goals and objectives of
USLA-SER.
The
Southeast Region is one of seven regions of the United States
Lifesaving Association (http://www.usla.org/)
which in turn is affiliated with the International Lifesaving
Association (http://www.ilsf.org/).
